Thai Massage, also called Thai Yoga Therapy or sometimes known as 'the lazy person's yoga,' combines assisted yoga with massage techniques. The trained therapist uses stretching movements from yoga while pressing muscles along the body's energy lines with both hands and feet. This helps stimulate the muscles while balancing the body's energy.

DURATION:
90 minutes / 120 minutes (by request) WHAT TO WEAR: Fully clothed, Thai massage is typically done without oils & lotions with clothers on. BODY PARTS TREATED: Head, Shoulders, Back, Gluteal Muscles, Legs, Feet, Arms, Face & Stomach (by Request). THENIQUES USED: Therapist will place client into various yoga positions while applying pressures. Therapist will be using their hands and feet while applying this pressure while also gently stretching client. Special emphasis would be placed on problem areas. TABLE OR GROUND: Massage is done using a specially made foam mattress placed on the ground. |
